Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join our IT team. This role involves developing and enhancing the user interface of our web and mobile applications to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development technologies, a passion for design and user experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with designers and back-end developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the front-end portion of our web and mobile applications.
- Translate design and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them in operations and activities.
- Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot any front-end issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or VueJS.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js.
- Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $6,500, based on the candidate’s skills and experience in front-end development.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $78,000, with potential for performance-related bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental and vision plans, a retirement savings plan, and generous vacation time.
